Materials Required

WeDo 2.0+ Compatible Robotics Kit

The robotics kit is not included. You'll need to purchase a WeDo 2.0+ compatible set separately (original second-hand or compatible versions available from AliExpress for approximately €60). After enrollment, we'll provide a link to help you choose the right one.

Computer

A MacOS or Windows 10+ computer is required to run Scratch 3.0 and Scratch Link (both free to download). Installation instructions will be provided in the course content.

Internet Access

Internet access is required to follow the course videos and instructions. A second tablet or computer is optional but recommended to make it easier for kids to follow along with the course content.

FAQ

  • How does the course work?

The course is fully online with pre-recorded lessons. A new lesson unlocks each week, and kids can follow along at their own pace.

  • Do parents need to help?

You'll need to assist with the initial setup, and we recommend doing the first lessons together. Kids 8+ can usually follow the course independently, while younger kids (6-7) may need some help from a parent or older sibling, especially at the beginning.

  • What if we need help?

We offer support via email and a private community where kids (or parents) can ask questions and share progress. We also schedule live and recorded Zoom sessions to answer common questions and provide additional guidance.

  • How long does each lesson take?

Each lesson takes about 45-60 minutes, but kids can take their time exploring and improving their projects.

  • Can siblings or friends share one robotics kit?

Yes! The course works well for pairs. We recommend that kids be around the same age so they can build and code together at a similar pace.

  • How long do we have access to the course?

You get lifetime access, so your child can revisit lessons anytime!
